Georgia vs Portugal third and final Group F match

The match kicks off at 9pm at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany

This is just the second ever meeting between Georgia and Portugal. Portugal won 2-0 in a May 2008 friendly.

Portugal have already qualified for the knockout stages of Euro 2024, while Georgia are bottom of Group F and cannot progress.

However, Georgia will be looking to finish their campaign on a high and will be inspired by their pre-match chat with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo told the Georgia players that they were a good team and that he was impressed with their performances at Euro 2024.

He also said that he hoped Georgia would continue to improve and qualify for future major tournaments.

Georgia coach Willy Sagnol said that Ronaldo's words had inspired his players and that they were determined to give a good account of themselves against Portugal.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player and a role model for many young players," said Sagnol.

"His words have inspired us and we are determined to show what we can do against Portugal."
